Job Title: Large Commercial Sales Agent
Location: Bray / Portlaoise, Hybrid (2-3 days from home)

Principal Objective of Position
The Large Commercial Sales Agent will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of Large Commercial customer accounts, delivering against agreed volume, margin, retention and new-business targets.
Working as part of the Commercial Sales Team, the role will focus on building strong customer relationships, providing a high standard of service and identifying opportunities to grow Certa Ireland’s commercial fuels and wider product offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Large Commercial customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships and a high level of customer service.
- Retain and grow customer volume and margin in line with agreed business targets.
- Identify and progress new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead follow-up and customer referrals.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring all customer activity, opportunities and next steps are accurately recorded on CRM.
- Provide daily pricing to existing, contracted and prospective customers in line with Certa’s pricing governance and approval processes.
- Work closely with the Large Commercial & Distributor Team Lead on pricing, account reviews, contract renewals and customer-retention activity.
- Manage customer queries relating to pricing, deliveries, products, allocations and account administration, liaising with the relevant internal teams where required.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell Certa products and services, including HVO, fuel cards, lubricants and tank-monitoring solutions.
- Support credit-control processes by working within approved credit limits and escalating any customer concerns promptly.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity and customer requirements, sharing relevant insight with the wider Commercial Sales Team.
- Attend internal meetings, customer meetings and training sessions as required.
- Carry out all duties in a professional manner and in line with Certa Ireland policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
- Previous experience in B2B sales, account management or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using a CRM system is desirable.
- Experience within the fuel, logistics or distribution industry would be an advantage.
