Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

Manchester | Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office

We’re working with an established digital agency that is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join its growing development team.

You’ll be joining a highly experienced technical environment and working within a client-focused delivery team, building and enhancing digital solutions for a broad portfolio of existing customers.

This is a great opportunity for a developer who already has some commercial software development experience, enjoys working across the full stack and wants to continue developing within a supportive and technically strong team.

The Role

You’ll work on small-to-medium-sized projects across a range of client accounts, contributing throughout the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing full-stack web applications using C# and modern .NET technologies
• Building and integrating Web APIs
• Working with SQL Server and relational databases
• Front-end development using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Working with CMS platforms such as Umbraco and Xperience by Kentico
• Delivering new functionality and enhancements for existing client platforms
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Taking part in code reviews and collaborative development
• Working with CI/CD and modern development practices
• Communicating with technical colleagues, project teams and clients
• Contributing to technical discussions and continually improving your development skills

What We’re Looking For

We’re ideally looking for someone with:

• Commercial software development experience within a .NET environment
• Strong C# and .NET fundamentals
• Experience with ASP.NET Core and Web APIs
• Good SQL Server knowledge
• Front-end experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• A genuine interest in full-stack development
• Strong communication skills
• A strong academic or educational background
• A stable career history and an interest in developing within a business long term

Experience working for a digital agency would be particularly valuable.

Experience with Umbraco or Xperience by Kentico would also be a major advantage, although strong developers without this experience will still be considered.

React experience is useful but is not an essential requirement.

Why Apply?

You’ll be joining a long-established digital business with a strong reputation for delivering complex websites, applications and digital platforms.

The company offers exposure to a wide variety of clients and technical challenges, rather than working on the same product every day. There is also a strong emphasis on professional development, modern engineering practices and giving developers the opportunity to continue building their technical skills.

This could suit someone moving up from a junior position or an established mid-level developer looking for broader project exposure and the opportunity to strengthen their technical experience.

Package

• Salary of £35,000 to £45,000
• Permanent position
• Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the Manchester office
• Flexible office days
• 37.5-hour working week
• Core hours of 10:00am to 4:00pm
• 25 days’ holiday plus public holidays
• Your birthday off
• Option to purchase additional holiday
• Private healthcare
• Gym subsidy
• Railcard scheme
• Pension with employer contribution
