You will work alongside experienced engineers and other team members to develop, test and maintain software applications. Work with front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs and databases
Assist with debugging, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Write unit tests and support quality-assurance activities
Participate in code reviews and apply feedback from senior engineers
Collaborate with developers, designers, product team members and other stakeholders
Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing
Use Git and established development workflows to manage code changes
You may be a recent graduate, completing your final year of study or already gaining your first professional software-development experience.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
A good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures and object-oriented development
Experience with at least one programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java or C#
An understanding of web applications, REST APIs and relational databases
Familiarity with SQL and basic database design
Experience using Git or another version-control system
The ability to investigate problems and communicate your approach clearly
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
University projects, personal projects, internships, bootcamp projects and open-source contributions will all be considered relevant experience.
