About the Role

We're looking for an Operations Specialist to join our team. A unique opportunity to gain exposure to both client-facing growth work and internal operational processes within the finance industry, and learning how a fintech scales from the inside.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new client projects by managing operational activities, gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with internal teams.
• Maintain ongoing contact with clients during project setup and execution, ensuring clarity on timelines, deliverables, and feedback loops.
• Assist the Business Development team with research, preparation of client materials, and follow-up activities related to ongoing or prospective partnerships.
• Liaise with internal teams (Product, Research, Engineering, and Operations) to ensure project milestones are met and any blockers are promptly resolved.
• Contribute to the optimization of internal workflows, documentation standards, and reporting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure information is properly tracked in project management tools.
• Assist with market benchmarking and research on potential prospects, preparing background briefs and use-cases.

What We're Looking For

• 2 - 3 years of professional experience in operations, client delivery, consulting, or a comparable role requiring coordination across teams;
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Management Engineering or a related quantitative field;
• A working understanding of how commercial, technical, and research functions fit together within a company, and the ability to learn an unfamiliar domain quickly;
• Comfortable stepping into an existing workstream, keeping it running smoothly, and taking ownership over time;

• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently with senior external stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Prior exposure to ISO standards or certification processes is a plus;

• Experience in fintech, banking, asset management, or consulting, whether academic or professional;

• Comfortable working with structured data and spreadsheets;
• Genuine curiosity for financial markets, alternative data, or quantitative research;
• Working proficiency with project management and documentation tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Jira, Confluence, or similar).

Why Join Us?

• Competitive salary & truly flexible work environment.
• Benefit from an unlimited learning and development budget to stay at the bleeding edge of AI research, alongside a fast-track path into technical leadership or principal research roles.
• Collaborate daily with an ultra-international team (18+ nationalities) spread across our offices in Milan, London and New York.
• Annual company retreat at a stunning location.
• Fast-track career progression, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles.
