Junior JavaScript Software Engineer

Founderside is a venture studio.
We don't hire people to execute someone else's vision - we bring in people who want to own a piece of what they build.

What you'll do
You'll work alongside senior engineers on the core products across our
portfolio. You'll ship real features, get direct code review, and see your work reach actual users.

• Build features end-to-end under engineer's guidance
• Work across 1–2 products at a time, not 4-5.
• Communicate with the owner and discuss production decisions

What you get beyond the salary

• Profit share or equity tied to the products you help ship
• Real ownership of features, not just tickets
• Mentorship from senior engineers who are still hands-on in the code

Who we're looking for
We're looking for people who are open-minded, comfortable asking questions, and comfortable being wrong in public, with strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node. A shipped side project tells us more than a certificate

Process
1. We look at your answers and project
2. Structured technical screen — recorded, with written feedback afterward
3. Final conversation with the founder
