Are you a Junior Developer or recent Graduate with 1+ years of experience looking for a commute closer to home on the Northern Beaches?
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career developer who is passionate about desktop application development and wants to work on software that has a direct, real-world impact.
The business is experiencing strong growth following the onboarding of new customers and is expanding its development team with multiple new entry-to-junior level roles.
The Role
You’ll be supporting the development of a core POS application, with a strong focus on Windows desktop development and WinForms. You’ll work across both front-end and back-end development while receiving mentorship from an experienced team and using modern tools, including AI, to accelerate your development efficiency and code quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting in developing and enhancing Windows desktop applications
- Writing and maintaining C# and .NET code under the guidance of senior developers
- Gaining hands‑on experience working with WinForms
- Supporting software deployment onto physical terminal hardware
- Contributing to both front‑end and back‑end development tasks
- Learning and working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Troubleshooting, testing, and improving existing application codebases
- Working collaboratively within an agile development environment
- Utilizing AI development tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and problem‑solving
