Do you want customers to feel well taken care of — and be the person who makes that happen? Join suena energy as (Junior) Customer Success Manager (f/m/x)!
Customer Success is what keeps our customers close and confident — the foundation for partnerships that last and grow — and the single channel that routes every request internally, so the rest of the team stays focused instead of being pulled in every direction.
suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewables.
Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently - and where we actively accelerate the energy transition by enabling batteries and renewables to power our grids. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the value and market participation of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets in short-term electricity and balancing markets - while minimizing risk for operators.
We're a 50+ person team that's fast-paced by nature, but the kind of place where people actually look out for each other. Following our successful Series A, we're investing in expanding our team – and Customer Success is next: over the past months, Lars built the function from scratch, and now we're adding a junior and a regular CS to turn it into a real team.
You'll hear back from us within 5 working days of your application. We value your time and want to make the process as transparent as possible. Once we receive your application, we'll send you a confirmation email outlining the next steps and what you can expect from our interview process.
We can't wait to meet you!
suena energy is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and reject any form of discrimination. It is important to us to create an inclusive environment for all our team members. We want to particularly emphasize that our call for applicants is addressed to all genders. We welcome applications from people with disabilities.

- Keep the operational backbone running – ticketing, HubSpot, and our data room (Dock), clean and up to date.
- Take customer questions and route them internally – the "travel agent" who gets every request to the right people fast.
- Support onboarding – ensure a smooth handover from Sales and give new customers a clear picture of what happens next.
- Prep and grow into running QBRs – pull the data together with Data Science and show customers how their asset is performing.
- Work hand in hand with Sales and Ops – the glue that keeps everyone coordinated.
- Shape a function that's still taking form – spot what's unclear, sharpen processes, bring your own ideas.
- Junior starts behind the scenes – you support the team first, then grow into your own book: customers, QBRs, and KPIs (net retention, customer satisfaction).
- Junior: early in your career — we care most about how you work (organized, curious, reliable) and your drive to grow into the customer and technical side.
- Regular: you've worked with customers before and can own accounts, run QBRs, and read technical data confidently from early on.
- Energy background – you bring relevant experience or a solid understanding of the energy trading industry and can connect the dots.
- You can read the numbers and make them make sense – you understand a performance dashboard and explain it to a customer in plain language.
- Calm, warm, and real – our customers are engineers and asset operators; they trust substance, not a sales show.
- Organized and reliable – you keep track of what's open and don't let things slip.
- Up for building, not just running – you see an unfinished CS function as a plus, not a problem.
- A genuine team player – you pull the same rope with Sales and Ops.
- German at C1 or native level, plus solid English (B2) – most customer communication runs in German; English is our internal working language.
- People at the Core: Clear structures, democratic decisions, and a feedback culture where your voice counts.
- Shape the Future: Contribute to the energy transition by working on sustainable energy solutions in a growing market environment.
- Connecting & Co-Creating: Strategy off-sites and onsite weeks for real collaboration and shared ideas.
- Work Your Way: Home office and flexible hours – you know what works best for you and your team.
- Good Vibes: Yoga, shared lunches, after-work fun – we keep the energy up, even when it's busy.
- Body & Mind: Urban Sports Club membership, wellbeing check-ins, and mental health support – your energy matters.
- New Office: 10th-floor office with rooftop terrace, canteen, great views, ergonomic desks, hardware of your choice, and a pet-friendly environment.
- Sustainable Extras: Deutschlandticket, FutureBens, and more – supporting your mobility and future.
