About the role
As a Junior Account Manager within 4C Strategies' global Defence Sales team, you will play a key role in expanding our presence across allied defence organisations and government agencies.
Working closely with our sales team you will identify new opportunities, build relationships with prospective customers, and generate qualified sales opportunities for our Exonaut platform. Rather than broad outbound prospecting, you will execute focused campaigns targeting priority defence organisations, programmes, and initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic prospecting with consultative engagement in a highly specialised and mission-critical industry. You'll help shape long-term customer relationships while contributing to the continued growth of one of the world's leading providers of defence readiness software.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns across priority defence organisations, working closely with Regional Sales Managers and the wider sales organisation.
• Identify, research, and engage prospective customers through a combination of outreach activities, industry events, networking, and digital channels.
• Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities through structured lead generation and relationship building.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and communicate how the Exonaut platform supports defence training, exercise management, and operational readiness.
• Qualify prospects against agreed customer profiles and progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure consistent follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Presales, Marketing, and Account Management teams to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and sales processes.
• Stay informed about defence market developments, procurement programmes, and industry trends to identify new growth opportunities.
• Represent 4C professionally at customer meetings, conferences, and defence industry events.
About you
You are naturally curious, commercially driven, and motivated by building relationships with new customers.
You enjoy researching complex organisations, identifying opportunities, and opening doors through thoughtful, well-prepared outreach. Rather than relying on high-volume sales tactics, you take a structured and consultative approach to engaging prospective customers.
You thrive in an international environment where success comes from collaboration, persistence, and continuous learning. You're equally comfortable working independently and partnering with experienced sales colleagues to move opportunities forward.
We believe you bring
3–5 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
A proven ability to drive outbound prospecting, qualify opportunities and generate pipeline.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar sales tools.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several campaigns, accounts and priorities simultaneously.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset, combined with curiosity, resilience and a willingness to learn.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Even better if you bring
Experience from the defence, defence tech, security or dual-use technology sector, or previous military experience.
Experience managing prospects around defence industry conferences, trade shows or account-based sales campaigns.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
