About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Key Account Manager (Jr. KAM) to support customer relationship management activities within our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) business. This role serves as a development position designed to build knowledge of customer account management, manufacturing operations, and business growth strategies. The Jr. KAM will work closely with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, support business objectives, and develop future account management capabilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/FUNCTIONS
Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Support Key Account Managers in managing assigned customer accounts.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in coordinating customer requirements with operations, planning, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams.
- Track customer action items and ensure timely follow-up.
Account Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer records and account activity within ERP and CRM systems.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and account performance metrics.
- Assist with customer business reviews and meetings.
- Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and customer requirements.
Sales & Business Development Support
- Assist with quotations, RFQs, pricing updates, and contract documentation.
- Research customer markets, industry trends, and potential growth opportunities.
- Support forecasting and sales planning activities.
- Help identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in customer issue resolution and corrective action follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience and operational performance.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
- Develop knowledge of EMS manufacturing processes, products, and supply chain operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

0-3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, account management, manufacturing, or a related role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to analyze information and solve problems effectively.

Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Internship or professional experience in manufacturing or customer-facing roles.

Experience working with ERP or CRM systems.

Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or electronics industries.

Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.

Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors.
