Title: Java Developer

Location: Montreal Canada - 3 Days Hybrid from Day 1

Mode: Contract

Note: Need only Montreal Local candidates

We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Python to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems while collaborating with frontend developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Java: Strong experience in Java programming, including frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Version Control Systems: Proficient with Git or similar version control systems.
• API Development: Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
