Java Developer in Muntinlupa, Philippines building Java applications: developing RESTful APIs and web services with Core Java/OOP, ideally Spring Boot, backed by SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server). Works in Agile/Scrum with Git, unit testing, and optional CI/CD/Docker/DevOps exposure.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Java application development.
Strong knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Java development principles.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services.
Hands‑on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot is preferred.
Experience working with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA or other ORM frameworks is an advantage.
Experience with Git or other version‑control systems.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of design patterns, clean code, and software development best practices.
Understanding of API integration and third‑party system integration.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and project managers.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development tools.
