Nityo Infotech is hiring a Java Backend Developer (6-9 years experience) in North York, Canada to develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, handle code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD pipeline work. Hadoop/big-data exposure is a plus.
Job Description
Job Summary:
Experience level – 6 to 9 years
Hands on development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Rest APIs.
Knowledge of Big data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, distributed computing frameworks for large-scale data processing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Knowledge or experience in the use of GIT/BitBucket, Gradle,Jenkins, Jira, Confluence or a similar tool(s) for building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Technical working experience in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development & Maintenance, Requirement clarification, Technical documentations, Code Review, building pipeline, deployment and testing.
Required Skills:
Mandatory - Java, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, Knowledge on DevOps and CI/CD
Good to Have - Exposure to Hadoop eco system
