Our client is an IT services company providing operational and technical support for enterprise IT environments. The successful candidate will join a support team responsible for Microsoft 365 (M365) and other enterprise services and applications. The role involves handling user enquiries, troubleshooting incidents, managing tickets and coordinating with internal teams and vendors. Japanese proficiency is required for supporting Japanese-speaking users and business counterparts, while English is required for day-to-day communication with English-speaking stakeholders.
◆Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user enquiries related to Microsoft 365 and other enterprise services and applications.
- Handle incidents, perform initial troubleshooting and escalate issues to the appropriate teams when required.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and configuration changes within Microsoft 365.
- Perform Microsoft 365 operational tasks using PowerShell, including configuration checks, administrative tasks and routine automation.
- Create and manage support tickets and document support activities using ITSM tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors while tracking issue progress through to resolution.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles, procedures and FAQs.
- Provide operational and technical support in a structured support desk environment.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
[Must Have]
- 2–5 years of experience in helpdesk, service desk or IT support roles.
- Basic knowledge and operational understanding of Microsoft 365.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English for handling user enquiries, documentation and communication with Japanese-speaking and English-speaking users and business counterparts.
- Willingness to work according to shift schedules, including approximately 1–2 night shifts per month and weekend shifts when required.
- Experience using PowerShell for system administration or IT operations.
- Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Zendesk or Dynamics 365.
- Hands-on operational experience with Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive or Entra ID.
- Experience working in a global IT support environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise users across multiple locations or regions.
