IT Support Specialist

Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, we make it easy for 60 million students to share notes every month - including using cutting-edge AI learning tools such as Studocu AI and Class Recording on the Studocu app.

We’re currently looking for a IT Support Specialist to join us! You'll be our go-to person for day-to-day IT support; helping colleagues with hardware and software issues, set up devices, troubleshoot technical problems, and contribute to making technology work smoothly across the company.

This is a hands-on role with lots of variety and opportunities to learn. One day you might be helping a new colleague get set up for success, and the next you could be improving an internal process or supporting an office IT project. We're looking for someone who's curious, proactive, eager to learn, and enjoys helping others.

You'll be part of our Digital Infrastructure team, working alongside experienced IT professionals in an international environment. It's a great opportunity to build your technical skills, gain exposure to a modern tech stack, and grow your career in IT.

What you’ll be doing here:

• If it plugs in, you'll probably be involved

• Keep our office connected with reliable WiFi and networking

• Set up devices for new joiners and manage IT inventory

• Help keep Studocu secure by administering our password management tools

• Improve meeting rooms with smart, Google-friendly collaboration tools for hybrid working

• Coordinate cabling, installations, and other office IT projects

• Automate onboarding, off-boarding, and access management processes

• Act as a go-to admin for Google Workspace and other core business tools

Why you’ll love it here:

• You'll get hands-on experience across IT, operations, security, and automation

• You'll work with people from all corners of Studocu

• Your ideas won't just be heard - you'll have the chance to make them happen

• It's not a role where you're stuck behind a desk all day

• Every week brings something new to learn

What you’ll bring to the team:

• If this will be your second job or you've been in this career for 10+ years - we want to hear from you!

• You've worked with Windows, macOS, or Linux before

• You've used (or are keen to learn) tools like Kandji for managing devices

• You enjoy helping people and communicating with colleagues from all backgrounds

• You're happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved in hands-on IT tasks

• You're curious about automation, scripting, and finding smarter ways of working

• Bonus points if you've ever set up your own network, home lab, or WiFi system

Other things that will make you the ideal candidate for us:

• You’re currently a resident in the Netherlands, a commutable distance from our office in Amsterdam

• You’re someone who enjoys being in the office at least 3 times per week!

Why you'll love it here:

• Awesome office in the centre of Amsterdam - with a garden!

• Hybrid working policy - we’d love to see you in our office 2 days per week!

• Free office lunch - prepared by Chef Valentijn - coffee, tea and snacks

• 24 holiday days - plus, options to buy leave and take 4 weeks working abroad

• A Work From Home set-up budget of up to 800 Euros

• Learning & Development budget of 2,500 Euros per year

• Free in-house Dutch lessons for those who want to learn

• Travel Card (NS Business), depending on where you’re living

• Pension scheme - we match your 2% contribution

• Look to the future with our SAR equity scheme

• Company boat trips and an open in-office bar on a Friday!

• OneFit sports subscription discount

• Your choice of Mac or Linux tech

• An epic annual company trip
