Salary: £28,000 - 35,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for someone with IT infrastructure experience, ideally in education.
- A passion for IT and a strong understanding of working within a school environment are essential.
- We need experience managing, setting up, and troubleshooting servers, PCs, Macs, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- We require good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, MDT, and WDS.
- We need knowledge of VLANs, Lightspeed, Google Suite, and Microsoft 365.
- We value knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Intune.
- Basic knowledge of wireless protocols is required.
- You must have strong communication skills and an approachable manner.
- You must be able to work under pressure.
- You should be able to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- A driving licence and car are essential.
- You must be willing to travel between sites.
- The successful candidate must pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Educational IT experience of 1 year is preferred.
- You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- We will ask you to become an effective member of each schools team.
- We will expect you to manage, set up, and troubleshoot IT equipment and systems across school sites.

- We will expect you to work across multiple locations in Hertfordshire.
- We will ask you to travel between sites as part of the role.

We provide reliable technology support to schools through dedicated consultants who act as an extended part of the school team, backed by our in-house support desk and cloud-based monitoring tools. We support schools from nursery through to sixth form across the south-east of England, and we are continuing to grow our well-respected IT consultant team. This is a full-time, permanent IT Consultant role based in Hertfordshire and working on the road across various locations, with a salary of £28,000 to £35,000 negotiable and benefits including a company pension.
