An experienced IT Project Manager coordinates and governs IT project delivery across multiple workstreams in Kuala Lumpur — owning planning, scheduling, RAID/risk and change management, vendor coordination, quality, and stakeholder reporting — focused on governance and delivery coordination rather than hands-on technical implementation.
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to coordinate and govern IT project delivery across multiple workstreams. The Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, reporting, change control and overall project coordination.
The role will coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors while working closely with Adecco's technical teams and subject-matter experts. The Project Manager will focus on project governance and delivery coordination rather than technical implementation.
Project Initiation & Planning
- Lead project kick-off meetings and establish project objectives, scope, constraints and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain the Project Charter / PID.
- Develop the project plan, WBS, schedule, resource plan and budget.
- Define project milestones, dependencies and critical path.
Project Scope & Change Management
- Maintain and control the approved project scope.
- Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, timeline, cost, risk and quality.
- Maintain the project change register and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Schedule & Cost Management
- Track project progress against the approved baseline.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Forecast project completion and costs.
- Identify project variances and initiate corrective actions where required.
Risk & Issue Management
- Maintain the RAID log covering risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
- Assign owners and mitigation actions for identified risks and issues.
- Monitor and escalate critical risks and issues according to the agreed escalation process.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Coordinate communication across project stakeholders.
- Chair project status meetings and governance meetings.
- Prepare Steering Committee and management presentation packs.
- Maintain the communication plan and stakeholder engagement activities.
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors and subject-matter experts.
- Monitor vendor/subcontractor deliverables and agreed SLAs.
- Follow up on outstanding actions, dependencies and deliverables.
Quality Management
- Establish and maintain the project quality plan.
- Ensure project deliverables go through the required reviews before submission for acceptance.
- Track deliverable quality and ensure agreed acceptance criteria are met.
Project Reporting & Governance
- Prepare twice-weekly executive status updates.
- Prepare weekly project status reports.
- Prepare monthly management reports covering project progress, schedule and cost variance, KPIs, forecast and changes.
- Maintain project documentation including:
- Integrated Project Plan
- RAID Register
- Action Log
- Decision Log
- Change Log
- Financial Forecast
- Integrated Project Plan
Project Closure
- Coordinate project handover and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct lessons-learned sessions.
- Ensure project documentation is completed and archived.
- Ensure outstanding risks and issues are transferred to the appropriate owners.
- Prepare the formal project closure report.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably managing multiple IT workstreams.
- Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, governance and delivery coordination.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Experience coordinating internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of project budgets, resource planning and cost tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive actions to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured project governance environment.
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior management / Steering Committees.
