A Day in the Life:

At Monster Energy, we move fast, push limits, and never settle for status quo — and our IT team is no different. We're looking for a Project Manager to join our IT PMO team and be the driving force behind technology projects that keep our business unstoppable. In this role, you'll lead IT projects from kickoff through completion, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to keep initiatives on track, on budget, and aligned with company goals. You'll bring structure and clarity to complex projects, helping our teams move forward with focus and confidence. You will operate independently with minimal oversight, driving cross‑functional alignment across business and IT while influencing stakeholders and executives. If you enjoy solving problems, keeping people aligned, and helping technology run smoothly behind the scenes, join us and help fuel what’s next.

The Impact You'll Make:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead cross-functional project teams composed of IT staff, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors through all phases of the project lifecycle — initiation, planning, design/requirements gathering, development (including integration coordination), QA testing, UAT, and closure.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business sponsors, technical teams, and executive leadership, ensuring alignment on objectives, priorities, and expectations.
• Track and report project status, milestones, budget performance, and key metrics using PMO standard tools and templates (e.g., dashboards, RAID logs, status reports).
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating appropriately and driving resolution in a timely manner
• Manage project scope and change control, evaluating change requests for impact on schedule, cost, and resources.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, steering committee reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence and adoption of PMO governance standards, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate resource planning and allocation with functional managers to ensure project staffing needs are met.
• Manage vendor, SI, and contractor relationships, including scope adherence, deliverables, and contract compliance.
• Support budget forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation for assigned projects.
• Drive post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions following a major release to support continuous improvement of PMO practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in the PMO's project management system.
• Act as an ambassador for the PMO and project management functions.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, information technology, or related field is required. Advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience managing complex, enterprise-grade IT projects with multi-system dependencies. Preference within a formal PMO structure.

• Experience managing Salesforce platform projects, including implementations, enhancements, integrations, data flows, and ongoing application management.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
