You will be working for an IT service provider operating worldwide supporting our operative team in handling our international projects.
As Onsite IT Support Engineer, you will be providing 2nd line onsite technical Support to Enterprise users of desktop/laptop/PC, assisting with building and deployment of new desktop/laptop hardware, supporting mobile devices and managing tickets using the company’s chosen IT ticketing tool. You will also coordinate and communicate with the central helpdesk team.

Job description:
• Onsite Troubleshooting & Break/Fix: diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues raised through the Service Desk, and escalate complex cases when needed
• IMAC/D Services: install, move, add, change and decommission IT equipment (desktops, laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, tablets, peripherals), including storage, disposal and compliant data deletion
• Workstation Imaging & Deployment: image, configure and deliver Windows and Linux/Unix workstations, connect them to the network and keep the asset database updated
• Network & Technical Room Support: install and cable switches, access points, routers and servers
• Asset & Stock Management: keep IT inventory accurate and make sure equipment and spare parts are always available
• Preventive Maintenance: carry out system updates, antivirus checks and hardware cleaning
• Documentation: record known issues and fixes in the knowledge base so more issues can be solved remotely
• Customer Service: deliver friendly, responsive support and build positive relationships with end users
You already have:
• Minimum 3 years of onsite / field IT support experience in a multinational (MNC) environment
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills on PC and laptop hardware, Windows operating systems and common peripherals
• Practical experience with OS imaging, workstation configuration and endpoint deployment
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including LAN cabling, switches and wireless access points
• Experience using IT ticketing systems and Service Desk processes (incidents, service requests, escalations)
• Experience with IMAC/D activities and IT asset or inventory records
• Strong spoken and written English, plus proficiency in the relevant local language
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of onsite issues
• Experience supporting Linux/Unix workstations
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or ITIL Foundation
• Previous experience in secure or regulated enterprise environments
