Investment Analyst (m/f/d)

Executive Summary

P3A is a multi-platform operating and investment group building the infrastructure of tomorrow. Entrepreneurial at its core, P3A builds, owns, and backs the companies behind the assets the modern world depends on, bringing long-term capital and deep operational expertise to how critical infrastructure is built, operated, and financed. P3A was founded by serial entrepreneur Jannes Fischer in 2023.

Your Role

As an Investment Analyst (m/f/d), you’ll join a lean, high-performance team as one of our first members, working directly with experienced founders, operators, and investors.

You’ll own the analysis behind our investment decisions: mapping markets, challenging investment theses, building the underlying numbers, and turning open questions into a clear recommendation. Once we commit capital, you’ll stay close to our portfolio companies and support their growth.

This is a front seat on a small, senior team where your judgment carries real weight from day one. It suits someone who seeks exposure across asset classes and the opportunity to grow into an investment lead over time.

Tasks

Source & Validate Opportunities

• Market Research & Hypothesis Building: Develop in-depth market analyses, sector maps, and investment theses to validate or challenge opportunities.
• Market Validation: Test hypotheses through structured research, expert interviews, customer discovery, and competitor analysis.
• Venture Design: Define compelling value propositions, target customer segments, business models, and defensible market entry strategies.

Portfolio & Platform Development

• Dealflow Management: Source, own, and progress due diligence on active deal opportunities across our verticals.
• Value Creation: Work directly with our portfolio companies on strategic and operational initiatives, acting as a trusted analytical sparring partner.
• Business Development: Support new partnerships, market entry, and growth initiatives across P3A and its business units.

Requirements

Your Personality

• Ownership Mentality: You do not wait to be told what to do. You identify what needs to be done and make it happen.
• Pace & Intensity: You thrive in a high-output environment where priorities shift quickly, and quality bars are non-negotiable. You are comfortable owning ambiguous problems end-to-end and shipping faster than feels comfortable.
• Intellectual Range: Comfortable moving between a real estate underwriting model one day and a venture investment thesis the next. Open to new topics, creative in your approach.

Your Experience & Skills

• Relevant Background: You bring at least 2 years of experience in a high-paced, analytical environment such as investment banking, venture capital, family office, or strategy consulting.
• Analytical Excellence: Ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct rigorous research, and distil complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Communication Skills: Confident engaging with founders, investors, and senior stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication in both German and English is mandatory.
• Location Availability: You can commit to working with the P3A team on-site in our Berlin headquarters.

Benefits

Direct Ownership

• Leadership Responsibility: Own opportunities from initial hypothesis through due diligence and deal closing, with responsibility from day one.
• Meaningful Impact: Develop, fund, and scale the operating systems behind the critical infrastructure of tomorrow.

Learning Environment

• Professional Development: Develop leadership expertise in fundraising & investment as well as portfolio value creation.
• Asset Diversity: Hands-on deal exposure across a diverse set of asset classes spanning, among others, venture capital, real estate, and public equities.

Strategic Resources

• Established Platform: Leverage direct access to P3A’s capital, capabilities, and domain expertise to accelerate deal execution.
• Network Access: Build lasting relationships with founders, operators, and investors shaping the next generation of infrastructure technology companies.
• Attractive Remuneration: The role is demanding, and we offer competitive remuneration incl. a fixed salary and bonus/equity in return.

Per aspera ad astra.
