The Physician Champion is a site-based medical leadership role for physicians who are committed to ensuring the HIS implementation reflects the realities of medical practice at WHCA. Physician Champions will act as a trusted clinical voice for medical staff at their site, engaging colleagues in the process and providing critical input on physician workflows, order management, and clinical documentation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape digital health at WHCA while building expertise in clinical systems.

Training & Go‑Live Support

• Support development of physician-specific training materials and reference tools
• Provide peer coaching and at-the-elbow support to medical staff during training and go-live

Physician Engagement & Communication

• Act as a visible and credible point of contact for physician questions, concerns, and feedback at your site
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and key decisions to medical staff in accessible language
• Gather and relay physician feedback to the project team to inform configuration and change management decisions
• Participate in relevant medical advisory or leadership forums as appropriate
