Noise is hiring a QA Intern in Gurugram to test Android and iOS mobile apps and smart devices alongside experienced QA engineers. Day-to-day work includes writing/executing functional, regression, and UI test cases, validating APIs with SQL, assisting with Appium automation, and logging bugs in an Agile team.
About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team in Gurgaon. You'll work alongside experienced QA Engineers to test mobile applications and smart devices, identify bugs, and help deliver high-quality products while gaining hands-on exposure to modern QA practices and AI-powered testing.
What You'll Do
- Test Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Write and execute test cases covering functional, regression, and UI testing.
- Test API responses and validate data using SQL queries.
- Assist in building and running automated test scripts using Appium.
- Log, track, and verify bug fixes using bug-tracking tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint testing.
- Help improve product quality by identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Basic knowledge of Android or iOS is a plus.
- Knowledge of Jira, Postman, or any bug-tracking tool is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of APIs and API testing; SQL knowledge is a plus.
