What are your contributions to the team?
- Provide legal support to the company’s internal teams, including Sales, Contracts (aircraft transactions), Marketing, Communications, and Flight Operations.

Draft and assist in negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing, marketing, pilot services, and confidentiality agreements.

Conduct legal research across various areas of law, including commercial law, contract law, private international law, and privacy law, and communicate findings to the Legal team through written memoranda or oral presentations.

Support the due diligence process for clients from around the world in compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements.

Gain first-hand insight into the role of in-house counsel within a global publicly traded company.

Collaborate with highly skilled business and legal professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for a company recognized as a Canadian industry leader.
How to thrive in this role?
- You are enrolled in a university program leading to a law degree.
- You are a Canadian citizen or have the required immigration status/work authorization to work full-time at Bombardier.
- You have strong business acumen and an interest in commercial law.
- You are enthusiastic about working alongside skilled and motivated lawyers in the fast-paced environment of a global company operating in a cutting-edge industry.
- You are bilingual in English and French and have strong English writing skills.
- You have experience reviewing, drafting, or analyzing contracts.
- You have experience conducting legal research and drafting clear and concise legal memoranda.
- You are able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams that may include lawyers, engineers, sales professionals, and marketing or strategy analysts.
- Knowledge of the aerospace industry and availability for an internship extension are considered assets, but are not required.
