Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developer

Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developer

This is a strong opportunity for an intermediate developer who wants more than a narrowly defined coding role. You’ll work in a small engineering team, build features end-to-end, work with substantial operational datasets and have genuine ownership over what gets shipped.

You’ll also have exposure to AI/LLM-enabled product development and occasionally work directly with customers to understand operational problems and translate them into technical solutions.

What you’ll work on

• Full-stack product development across React and TypeScript

• Backend services using Node.js / NestJS

• PostgreSQL and time-series / high-volume data

• Deploying and maintaining services in AWS

• Building data, analytics and AI-enabled product features

• Improving code quality and contributing to technical decisions

• Translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions

• Supporting less experienced developers as you grow

Requirements

• 3+ years’ commercial software development experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline

• Commercial experience with React

• Backend development experience in Node.js , ideally NestJS

• Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals , including data modelling and query performance

• Exposure to AWS or another major cloud platform

• Exposure to IoT / IIoT, connected devices, telemetry or real-time data would be highly advantageous

• Interest or experience in AI / LLM-enabled development

• A proactive problem-solver who can take ownership and work through ambiguity without needing constant direction

• Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging directly with customers when required.
If you’re a strong engineer who enjoys building meaningful products, solving real business problems and taking ownership of what you deliver ,
• Accelerated growth - develop faster by working across the full product and technology stack rather than being limited to one narrow area.

• Real ownership - take features from problem definition through to build, deployment and improvement.

• Direct impact - your work will be visible and will directly influence the product and customer experience.

• Exposure to emerging technology - work across AI/LLMs, IoT, data and analytics alongside core software engineering.

• Grow as the company grows - strong performers have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the team and product scale.
