ams OSRAM is hiring an Integration Engineer in Funchal, Portugal, to build and maintain data and EDI integrations between systems — working with formats like IDOC, JSON, SQL, XML and EDI standards, transmission protocols such as SFTP, REST and SOAP, and databases like SQL Server and Oracle, with SEEBURGER BIS experience welcome.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of IDOC, JSON, SQL, XML, CSV data formats and File, SFTP, HTTP, REST, SOAP, RFC transmission
- Foundational understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Experience working with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
- Good programming skills and strong proficiency in SQL query development and troubleshooting
- Experience with or a willingness to learn,SEEBURGER BIS 6.7, SEEBURGER BIC/BIS Mapping Designer, ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards, as well as AS2 and OFTP2 transmission
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
