Inside Sales Representative

Job Description

New business is how SUSE grows in the Netherlands, and this role is where that growth starts. As Net New Name Inside Sales Representative, you won't inherit an existing book of accounts, you'll build one. You'll be the first point of contact between SUSE and organizations that have never worked with us before, which means the quality of your prospecting, qualification, and pitch directly shapes how much of the Dutch market we're able to win. This is a high-visibility, quota-carrying role covering the Netherlands, sitting within SUSE's broader Benelux/Nordics/UKI sales organization, and strong performance here is a proven path into senior sales roles.

What You'll Do

• Identify and research net-new accounts in the Netherlands, building your own pipeline rather than working inherited leads
• Cold call and prospect to open conversations with organizations that have no existing relationship with SUSE
• Qualify leads on need, budget, authority, and timeline before they move further into the pipeline
• Run virtual sales presentations that connect SUSE's open source solutions to the specific problems a prospect is trying to solve
• Build relationships with the people who actually make the buying decision, not just the ones who pick up the phone
• Negotiate and close deals, and hand off cleanly to account managers where the relationship continues post-sale
• Keep an accurate, well-managed pipeline in CRM, forecast honestly, and flag risk early rather than late
• Work closely with sales development and marketing to sharpen what's converting and feed that back into campaign strategy
• Stay current on SUSE's product portfolio and where we stand against the competitive landscape

What We're Looking For

• Inside sales or sales development experience, ideally in software or another B2B tech environment
• A track record of self-generated pipeline through cold calling, not just working leads handed to you
• Comfortable qualifying hard, pushing back on vague answers, and knowing when a deal isn't real
• Strong presentation skills that land with both technical and business audiences
• A track record of hitting quota, not just staying busy
• Fluent Dutch and English

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with open source, Linux, or infrastructure software; if not, a genuine willingness to ramp up fast, since speed to productivity matters in this role
• Prior experience selling specifically into the Netherlands market
