About MaidThis

MaidThis is a growing residential cleaning company with a fully remote sales and operations team.

Our customers usually come to us because they already need cleaning. Your job is to understand what they need, recommend the right service, confidently ask for the booking, and make sure everything is documented correctly so our operations team can deliver what was promised.

We care about:

• strong customer relationships
• recurring customers
• clean execution
• fast follow-up
• accountability
• people who take ownership without being chased

The Person We’re Looking For

You are an experienced phone salesperson who knows how to move a conversation toward a decision.

You do not just answer questions or provide customer service.

You:

• Ask good questions and understand what the customer actually needs
• Recommend the right solution
• Handle normal price hesitation and objections confidently
• Ask for the booking
• Follow up persistently without being reminded
• Keep your CRM, notes, and pipeline clean
• Notice when something is being missed and take action
• Follow a required sales process consistently, even when you are busy
• Communicate early when something is stuck
• Take feedback well and apply it quickly

We do not need a high-pressure salesperson. We need someone who can sell while protecting the customer relationship and making promises our operations team can actually execute.

What You’ll Own

New Sales

• Answer inbound calls and sales inquiries quickly
• Run consultative sales calls
• Understand the customer’s home, priorities, timing, and service needs
• Quote accurately
• Recommend recurring service when appropriate
• Handle objections
• Ask for the booking and payment information
• Follow up on open opportunities until there is a clear outcome

Pipeline & Follow-Up

• Own your leads from first contact through booking or close-out
• Keep CRM stages, notes, tags, and next steps accurate
• Run outbound follow-up and reactivation calls/texts
• Make sure promising leads do not disappear because nobody followed up
• Surface problems or missed opportunities early instead of waiting for a manager to find them

Sales-to-Operations Handoff

• Capture the details operations needs to successfully complete the job
• Follow our required call process and sales gates
• Never promise something you have not verified
• Leave clear notes so another team member can understand exactly what was agreed

Required Experience

Please apply only if you have real phone-sales experience.

We are looking for:

• 2+ years of phone-based sales experience
• Experience personally moving prospects from inquiry to purchase/booking
• Experience working toward sales, revenue, conversion, or closing targets
• Strong spoken English that U.S. customers can easily understand
• Comfortable working quickly across a CRM, calls/texts, Slack, and browser-based tools
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Full-time remote work experience preferred
• Reliable, interruption-free workspace during scheduled hours

Strong preference for candidates with experience in:

• residential cleaning
• home services
• property services
• moving
• HVAC
• plumbing
• pest control
• landscaping
• restoration
• other appointment-based consumer services

This Role Is Probably NOT a Fit If Your Experience Is Mainly:

• Customer service without sales responsibility
• Appointment setting without closing
• High-volume cold calling where you hand the lead to another closer
• Lead generation without owning the sale
• Script reading without discovery or objection handling

We value those backgrounds, but this particular opening requires someone who can personally drive a customer toward a booking.

Remote Work Requirements

Before starting, you must have:

• Reliable computer capable of handling multiple browser-based work systems simultaneously
• Minimum 16 GB RAM
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Backup internet
• Reliable power backup where outages are common
• Headset/microphone suitable for professional customer calls
• Quiet, interruption-free workspace
• Full attention to MaidThis during scheduled work hours

Compensation & Growth

• Base: $1,200–$1,500/month, depending on experience and fit
• Performance-based bonus program
• Long-term opportunity for stronger performers to take on more ownership and higher compensation

We are a small team. People who consistently produce results, improve the operation, and can be trusted with more responsibility have room to grow.

We do not promote based on title or time alone. Increased ownership follows demonstrated performance.

When You Apply

Please be prepared to tell us:

• What you personally sold
• Whether your sales were inbound, outbound, or both
• Whether you personally closed the customer
• Your individual sales targets
• Your actual recent results
• The CRM and sales tools you have used

Our interview process includes a short practical sales exercise. We care more about what you can demonstrate than having a perfect résumé.
