Infrastructure Engineer (VPN Application)

For more than 10 years, we've been building apps in the Health & Wellness, AI Chats & Tools, and Utilities categories, reaching millions of users worldwide.

We're currently scaling the team behind our VPN Application and looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (project-based, part-time).

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain the network data plane: WireGuard, kernel routing, nftables/tproxy, ipset, CoreDNS
• Set up egress through SOCKS5 proxies (ISP/residential)
• Develop the control plane: IP manager, VPN config management, IP allocation, state machine, prober service
• Integrate with Postgres, Slack, and CLI tools
• Handle deployment, monitoring, alerting, and 24/7 node operations

Requirements:

• Solid command of Linux networking: routing, netfilter/nftables, WireGuard, tunnels
• Understanding of operations: deployment, monitoring, system reliability
• Hands-on experience with egress/routing and policy routing/tproxy
• Background in VPN, ISP, or residential proxy environments
