A hands-on IT support role at a Dubai government authority: the person sets up and maintains computers, AV/event equipment, and printers (including the Ysoft SafeQ print system), troubleshoots hardware and software issues on-site and remotely, and manages IT asset inventory, repairs, and vendor maintenance schedules.
- Set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure
- End-user’s hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair for AV system, Computers, Printers, Telecommunication and Network Equipment.
- IT asset inventory and status reports, including decommission activities.
- Setup and operate AV/System equipment used for events, such as microphones, projectors, sound equipment for events, presentations, meetings, conventions and media coverage.
- Setup, operate and maintain Printers/MFP’s, manage Ysoft Safe-Q print solution system and badge printing for events and staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in-person (on site), remotely and via phone
- Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
- Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
- Assist employees with computer problems and answer their quires
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule follow-up with the vendors for repairs/new order including printer cartridges etc.
