About the role
The Information Security Analyst plays a vital role in protecting the organisation's technology environment by identifying, analysing, prioritising, and mitigating cybersecurity events and incidents. In addition to threat monitoring and incident response, this role provides administrative oversight, maintenance, and Level 3 support for key security defence platforms across cloud and on-premises environments.
Working closely with the Security Operations Centre (SOC), ICT Infrastructure teams, and external partners, you will help tune detection platforms, create new detection content, conduct threat hunting, and support root-cause investigations. You will also assist with security risk assessments, exposure management, audit responses, and the ongoing enhancement of security policies, standards, and architecture.
