SUMMARY
Responsible for the ongoing success of agents and agencies once they have been recruited and onboarded; provides strategic coaching, business planning, and market intelligence to help partners grow their medical business and maximize their long-term success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners with existing agents and agencies to develop strategies that grow their over and under 65 medical business, proactively identifying opportunities to increase production, expand product adoption, and improve market penetration, leveraging data and CRM information.
Monitors agent performance and recommends strategies to improve results through delivering consultative coaching focused on business planning, sales effectiveness, and long-term growth.
Analyzes industry trends, carrier updates, regulatory changes, and competitive activity to develop sales strategies by translating those market insights into actionable recommendations for agents and agency partners.
Proactively and independently shares best practices, sales opportunities, and business development strategies through individual coaching, meetings, and webinars.
Collaborates with leadership to suggest growth opportunities across the distribution channel.
Delivers onboarding support and training around over and under 65 medical benefits, carriers, and other information that equips agents for long-term success.
Partners with Recruiting to ensure a seamless transition from onboarding into ongoing business enablement.
Promotes adoption of tools, resources, and sales programs that enhance agent performance.
Builds trusted relationships with Recruiting team members to achieve a successful transition of assigned agents and agencies maintaining regular communication to understand business needs and provide proactive support.
Maintains accurate records of agent interactions, business plans, and development activities within CRM systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
Life/Health Insurance license required
SKILLS
Strong knowledge of Medicare products, distribution channels, and the independent agent market.
Ability to develop business growth and sales strategies.
Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive market dynamics.
Strong coaching, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Experience using CRM systems and business analytics to drive agent development.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to collaborate across departments to improve agent success.
