A Career That Combines Sales, Design, and Real Impact
Floor Coverings International brings the showroom to the customer's living room — literally. You'll drive a fully-stocked Mobile Showroom van to homeowners' doors, walk them through flooring options on a tablet, and help them fall in love with their new space. Then you close the deal and hand off to our install team, so you can move on to the next opportunity.
This isn't a sit-and-wait role. We hand you a mobile showroom, a strong local reputation, and company-generated leads — but our top earners build their own pipeline too, networking with builders, designers, realtors, and past clients to keep referrals flowing. If you like being out in the community and turning relationships into business, this is built for you.
If you're a driven, people-first salesperson who wants uncapped commission and a company that actually has your back, keep reading.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Running warm, scheduled in-home appointments, from company-generated appointments to ones you set up yourself
- Selling with tools that do the work for you: our tablet system shows room visualizations, pricing, and product info on the spot
- Owning the whole client relationship, from first hello to referral request
- Actively networking to grow your pipeline — building ongoing relationships with builders, designers, realtors, and past clients so referrals become a steady second income stream
What's In It For You
- Base salary + uncapped commission — top performers who put in the work can earn $100,000+
- Company van (your mobile showroom) and gas covered — no mileage tracking, no wear on your own car
- Health benefits to support you
- Paid training — you don't need flooring experience to start strong
- Flexible full-time schedule built around client availability, not a punch clock
- All-expenses trip to our annual company convention in Mexico
- A real career ladder, not just a job — unlimited growth for people who perform
Who We're Looking For
- 2+ years of outside sales, in-home sales, or another high-trust, face-to-face sales role
- A natural networker who's genuinely energized by meeting builders, designers, realtors, and past clients — and turning those relationships into referral business
- Someone who's competitive, coachable, and closes with integrity — not pressure
- Comfortable with a tablet-based sales process (we'll train you on the specifics)
- Valid driver's license and the flexibility to work some evenings/weekends around appointments
- Bonus points (not required) for a background in flooring, construction, or interior design
