Job Description & Summary

At PwC Australia, we recognise the power of transformation and the potential of human-centred innovation. As a Manager in our Cybersecurity & Privacy team, you’ll work with leading organisations across a range of industries to design and deliver practical, future-focused IAM solutions. You’ll join a highly experienced and collaborative team that brings together deep identity expertise, strong client relationships, access to leading AI-enabled delivery tools, and the strength of PwC’s broader Digital business and global IAM network.

This is a role for someone who loves the IAM space, someone curious, hands-on, client-focused and excited by the opportunity to shape how organisations manage identity in an increasingly complex digital world.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health, giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.

What you’ll do:

• Lead day-to-day delivery of IAM engagements, working closely with clients to understand their challenges, shaping solutions and delivering meaningful outcomes

• Design and support solutions across workforce IAM, customer IAM, privileged access, non-human identities and emerging areas such as agentic IAM

• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations

• Work across IAM strategy, architecture, implementation support, transformation initiatives, and managed services offerings

• Collaborate with PwC’s broader Digital, Cyber and global IAM teams to bring the best of our capability to clients across different industries

• Use modern delivery methods, including AI-enabled tools, to help teams deliver at scale, accelerate insight and continuously learn

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in IAM, with the ability to work across both strategic advisory and technology-led delivery

• A practical understanding of IAM concepts such as identity governance, access management, privileged access, customer identity, authentication, authorisation and identity lifecycle management

• Experience working with clients or senior stakeholders, with the confidence to lead conversations, manage delivery and build trusted relationships

• Familiarity with leading IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Idira / CyberArk and Ping Identity would be desirable, but is not essential

• A curious and positive mindset, with a desire to keep learning as the IAM landscape evolves across cloud, automation, AI and non-human identities

• A collaborative working style and strong cultural fit, someone who supports others, brings energy to the team and helps create an environment where people can do their best work.

What you'll gain

• The opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise

• Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work, balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together

• Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development

• Generous leave entitlements including four weeks’ annual leave and float public holidays to support your work-life balance

• A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life

• We know that perks are as important as your financial rewards. Explore all the benefits that PwC has to offer here

About you

You may already be a consultant, or you may be working in industry. You are ready to step into a role where you can take more ownership of client delivery and team leadership. You do not need to have worked across every area of IAM or used every technology. What matters most is that you bring strong identity foundations, a consulting mindset, curiosity, and the ability to work with clients and teams to solve complex problems.

If you’re excited by the future of identity, including workforce, customer, privileged, non-human and agentic IAM, we'd love to hear from you.
