A senior infrastructure engineer role reporting to the CIO, designing and operating hybrid compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and public cloud systems that power live trading, clearing, and surveillance at a regulated derivatives exchange. Day to day involves systems administration, cloud integration, L2/L3 incident support, member connectivity, and disaster recovery.
Salary: $8,000 – $12,000 per month

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will engineer, operate, and safeguard our robust hybrid infrastructure. This critical environment powers live trading, clearing, surveillance, and corporate services.
The role covers compute, operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup, networking, and public cloud platforms, with an unwavering focus on availability, performance, security, resilience, and recoverability within a highly regulated exchange environment.
Infrastructure Operations & Engineering: Design, implement, operate, and maintain secure, resilient systems across data centers, corporate offices, and public cloud environments.
Systems & Storage Administration: Administer enterprise compute infrastructure, Linux/Windows servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backup solutions.
Network & Security Management: Configure and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, VPN gateways, DNS, DHCP, and WAN links. Drive system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.
Hybrid Cloud Integration: Manage public cloud infrastructure and hybrid connectivity, virtual networks, routing, and migration workflows.
Incident & Change Management: Provide L2/L3 escalation support, lead root cause analyses, and execute infrastructure changes in line with rigorous compliance standards.
Member Connectivity: Perform connectivity testing, troubleshooting, circuit provisioning, and migration activities for trading and clearing members.
Disaster Recovery & Audits: Support business continuity exercises, DR failovers, backup restorations, and provide technical input for regulatory inspections and audits.
Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure engineering experience, preferably within a high-availability, business-critical, or regulated environment (financial institutions, brokerages, or exchanges are a strong plus).
Technical Depth: Demonstrated expertise in at least one core domain (Systems, Networking, Virtualization, Storage, or Public Cloud) with strong cross-functional knowledge.
Core Competencies:
Hands-on administration of Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
Experience with virtualization, enterprise backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery.
Sound networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs).
Familiarity with public cloud networking, security, and cloud-to-data-center connectivity.
Preferred Credentials: Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP, RHCE, or public cloud engineering certifications.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, disciplined documentation habits, self-motivation, and sound judgment under pressure in time-sensitive production environments.
