Human Resources Partner - Manufacturing

Hello. It’s nice to meet you.

If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. We can’t promise where you’ll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started.

Are you ready for this?

At the All Weather Group, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won’t hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve.

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first Human Resources Partner - Manufacturing to support our main manufacturing facility and help shape the future of HR at All Weather. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong relationships, and takes pride in executing the fundamentals of HR exceptionally well.

You’ll partner closely with employees across production, trades, and operations, providing day-to-day HR support while building trust with leaders and frontline teams alike. A strong floor presence, sound judgment, and the ability to connect across cultures and communication styles are essential. While today this role is grounded in the day-to-day hands on HR support, as trust and credibility are built within the team, there is significant opportunity for the successful candidate to identify improvements and help evolve the HR function toward a more strategic partnership with operations.

Are you built for this?

We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. This is an operationally focused role with meaningful opportunity for growth. You’ll spend much of your time supporting your group’s day-to-day HR needs, building processes, and strengthening manager capability. As trust grows, so will your strategic impact within the business.

This role can transition to a hybrid work model; however, the successful candidate should expect to work full-time onsite during the first months to build relationships, gain a strong understanding of our operations, and become immersed in our teams and processes. Our core office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 am – 5 pm and our plant operates on three shifts.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration of various programs for approximately 400 employees
• Serve as the dedicated HR partner for our manufacturing facility, coaching managers/supervisors and supporting employees at every level
• Lead investigations, accommodation discussions, conflict resolution, and performance-related matters with professionalism and fairness
• Advise leaders on employment legislation, policy interpretation, and HR best practices
• Manage high-volume recruitment while balancing quality, speed, and candidate experience

• Maintain accurate HRIS records and support reporting and workforce metrics Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, build consistency, and support organizational change initiatives
• Foster positive relationships with employees for whom English is a second or additional language — patience, adaptability, and creative communication are real skills here

• You will be supported by a collaborative HR team and an HR Manager who is invested in your development

What You Bring

• Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or other high-volume operational environments is a strong asset
• Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation
• Proven ability to coach and influence leaders by building manager capability — not simply solving problems for them
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and situations
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clarity, patience, and adaptability across language and cultural differences; additional language proficiency is an asset
• Strong organization, follow-through, critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
• You are approachable but aren’t afraid to hold people accountable
• HRIS experience required; UKG experience is an asset
• CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset
• A growth mindset and genuine motivation to help shape the future of the HR function as the role evolves; wants to make a tangible difference in the employee experience

Let’s get after it.

Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. Our workforce reflects the diversity of our community — and we see that as a strength. We’re committed to building an HR function that supports every employee with fairness, respect, and understanding.
