HSE Officer

• Conduct routine inspections of excavation, lifting, confined space, and traffic‑related works.
  

• Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions to workers and subcontractors.
  

• Monitor PTW systems for high‑risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting operations).
  

• Prepare hazard identification and risk control measures for site activities.
  

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
  

• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection logs, and compliance records.
  

• Ensure adherence to Ashghal requirements, project specifications, and international HSE standards.
  

• Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve safety issues.
  

• Participate in HSE meetings and company QHSE promotional initiatives.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety.
  

• Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
  

• Previously Ashghal‑approved HSE Officer (mandatory).
  

Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred)

• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely.
  

• Ashghal HSE approval for infrastructure projects.
  

• Valid Qatar government project approvals.
  

• HSE training (Work at Height, Confined Space, Fire Safety, Lifting Operations).
