Test Automation Engineer Lead (Cybersecurity)

We are looking for a Test Engineer Lead to join a global Cyber Security team responsible for application and infrastructure security testing across pre-production and production environments. The team develops and integrates security scanning, vulnerability management, and reporting solutions within a Kubernetes and cloud-based ecosystem.

Type of contract: B2B (hourly rate, no paid days off)
Hybrid model: 6 days per month from the office (Cracow/ Warsaw)

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for security platforms and services.
Design, automate, and integrate testing frameworks within CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across deployments.
Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams.
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage.
Mentor team members and establish testing standards and best practices.
Report QA metrics and progress to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software development and/or test automation, including leadership experience.
Proven experience building and executing test strategies.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and secure SDLC principles.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments.
Ability to define and analyze QA metrics.
Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance frameworks is a strong advantage.
