HRBP Specialist - Latam

About the company

Our client is a global B2B technology company providing iGaming software solutions to enterprise clients worldwide. With a strong international footprint and a growing team in Latin America, the company is looking for an HR Business Partner to build and strengthen its people practices across the region.

About the role

This is an HR position with real ownership over the employee experience in Latam. You will design and implement core people processes such as performance evaluation, people analytics and engagement initiatives, with a clear mandate to improve retention and strengthen internal culture.
You will work directly with the global HR team, adapting global policies, programs and initiatives to the local realities of each Latin American market, acting as the regional reference for all people-related matters. Payroll and personnel administration are handled by an external provider, allowing you to focus on strategic and hands-on HR work rather than administrative routines.

What you will do

• Design and implement the performance evaluation cycle for the region, from framework to rollout and follow-up
• Build and maintain people analytics routines, turning HR data into insights and recommendations for leadership
• Plan and execute engagement initiatives that strengthen team connection, motivation and sense of belonging
• Develop and drive retention strategies, identifying risks early and acting on them
• Act as a culture ambassador, reinforcing company values and shaping a healthy internal environment
• Partner with global HR to adapt policies, programs and processes to the Latam context, ensuring local relevance and compliance
• Support leaders as a trusted advisor on team development, feedback, career conversations and organizational topics
• Coordinate with the external provider responsible for payroll and personnel administration, ensuring a smooth employee experience end to end

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, ideally in international or fast-growing environments
• Hands-on experience implementing performance evaluation processes and engagement initiatives
• Familiarity with people analytics: comfortable working with HR data, metrics and dashboards
• Advanced or fluent English and Spanish (both are mandatory for daily use)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence leaders and build trust across levels
• Cultural sensitivity to adapt global practices to different Latam markets
• Autonomy, organization and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, software or platform-based businesses
• Previous exposure to multi-country HR operations in Latin America

What is offered

• CLT contract with a global technology company expanding in Latam
• On-site position based in São Paulo, SP
• The opportunity to build people practices for the region from the ground up
• Direct partnership with global HR and regional leadership
• International, multicultural work environment
