Before you apply: Have you worked hands-on with Zoho Recruit and Zoho People? Please mention the specific modules you've used and for how long — applications without this won't be shortlisted.

Why this role is different

We are building a technology-driven HR environment powered by the Zoho ecosystem — Recruit, People, Payroll, and Sign. Some of it is already running; some of it you'll help us finish building. We need someone who treats these systems as tools to actually own — configuring workflows, closing data gaps, fixing what's broken — not someone who does recruitment and HR admin on the side while treating Zoho as an afterthought.

We're also looking for an HR professional who uses AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, or similar — as a daily productivity habit, not a line on a resume.

Zoho tools you'll own

• Zoho Recruit — job postings, candidate pipelines, blueprints, interview scheduling, offer letters, recruitment dashboards. Mandatory — hands-on

• Zoho People — employee records, onboarding, attendance, leave, HR workflows and reports. Mandatory — hands-on

• Zoho Payroll — payroll inputs, statutory coordination (PF/ESI/PT/TDS) with Accounts. Nice-to-have — working knowledge

• Zoho Sign — offer/appointment letters, NDAs, policy documents via e-signature; template management. Nice-to-have — working knowledge

• Zoho Forms — joining forms, exit interviews, internal HR requests. Preferred

• Zoho Flow — automation logic between Zoho apps (e.g. Recruit → notification, Leave → approval). Preferred

• Zoho Analytics / CRM — HR dashboards, hiring-source analysis. Preferred

Key responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Own full-cycle recruitment in Zoho Recruit: sourcing → screening → interviewing → offer → onboarding

• Manage and prioritize 20+ concurrent open roles (FSEs across AP/TN/Karnataka/Maharashtra + office staff)

• Source actively via Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Apna, referrals, and regional job boards

• Track and report recruitment volume, time-to-fill, and offer-to-join ratio — not just resume count

• Coordinate the WhatsApp-based candidate notification flow (Zapier → Picky Assist) and keep it running smoothly

HR Operations (Zoho People)

• Drive onboarding and induction for new joinees, including documentation and system access

• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and leave data — this feeds payroll and reporting directly

• Set up and refine HR workflows and approval chains as the team grows

Payroll, Compliance & Documentation

• Coordinate with Accounts/payroll consultants for PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, and TDS/Form-16 compliance

• Manage the Zoho Sign template library for offer letters, appointment letters, and HR policy documents

• Track signing status and follow up to close pending documents on time

AI-Powered HR & Productivity

• Use AI tools practically for JD creation, screening questions, interview prep, HR policy drafting, and MIS summaries

• Bring at least one HR process improvement or automation idea to the table each quarter

HR Generalist & Policy

• Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and SOPs

• Implement and run performance reviews (KPIs/KRAs) with quarterly or annual cycles

• Handle employee grievances and support conflict resolution with sound judgment

• Plan employee engagement activities and coordinate training initiatives

How this role is measured

• Recruitment tracker — updated daily

• Digital onboarding via Zoho Sign — 100% of new joiners

• Zoho People data accuracy — attendance & leave reconciled monthly

• Payroll input accuracy — finalized before the 1st of each month

• Offer-to-joining ratio — tracked and reported monthly

• HR process improvement / automation — at least 1 per quarter

• AI productivity usage — demonstrable, practical, ongoing

What you need to bring

Must-have

• 2–5 years of experience in recruitment and HR generalist functions

• Demonstrable, hands-on experience with at least Zoho Recruit and Zoho People — be ready to show real usage, not just "familiar with"

• Proven end-to-end recruitment results — volume, time-to-fill, and sourcing performance

• Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS)

• Regular, practical use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day HR work

• Strong learning mindset — comfortable picking up new Zoho applications and AI tools

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for reporting and tracking

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management — you'll coordinate with field managers across states

Nice-to-have

• Prior exposure to Zoho Payroll and Zoho Sign (trainable if Recruit/People fluency is strong)

• Experience hiring for field sales or distributed sales teams

• Exposure to Zoho Forms, Zoho Flow, Zoho Analytics, or Zoho CRM

Education: Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA-HR preferred)

This role is not a fit if you...

• Have only traditional HR administration experience with no HR software exposure

• Know Zoho only theoretically, or use Excel as your primary HR system

• Rarely or never use AI tools in your actual workflow

• Need constant supervision or are uncomfortable with recruitment targets

• Prefer documentation/payroll-only work with no interest in recruitment

• Prefer repetitive HR administration over building systems, automation, and improved processes

What we offer

• Full ownership of a modern, all-Zoho HR stack — genuinely useful, resume-building expertise

• Direct exposure to leadership; fast decision-making, no bureaucracy

• A clear, performance-based growth path

• Competitive, negotiable compensation based on experience + performance incentives

Growth path: HR Executive → Senior HR Executive (HR Ops & Automation) → HR Manager. Progression is performance-based, not purely tenure-based.

Application requirements

Please include with your application: years of hands-on use of Zoho Recruit, Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Sign, and Zoho Forms / Flow / Analytics; AI usage frequency (Daily / Weekly / Occasionally / Never); and one example of how you've used AI to improve an HR process. Also include Current CTC, Expected CTC, and Notice Period.

We assess practical Zoho and AI usage during the interview — shortlisted candidates should be ready to walk through real examples.
