Join us in making a difference

Ready to elevate your HR business partnering skills at trivago with a truly cross-entity scope? As part of the Talent & Business Relations Team, you'll be the trusted people partner for your own group of business leads, consulting on everything from leadership and performance to compensation and organizational change. Alongside that, you'll take on the project lead role for the integration of our Israeli entity, bringing trivago's people processes into that context and governing people moves across the matrix — all without duplicating what local HR already owns there. It's a role that combines the depth of classic business partnering with the breadth of cross-entity project ownership, and it takes someone who can genuinely juggle both without losing sight of either. trivago is a place where ambition and support go hand in hand. We hold high standards and genuinely invest in each other's growth, giving you real autonomy to shape both sides of this role. Apply today and help us grow across borders.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Consult our Product & Analytics leads on complex people management topics, including leadership, performance management, compensation, and staffing.
• Offer strategic advice during change management processes, such as organizational restructurings.
• Support workforce forecasting and succession planning, offering informed, data-backed advice.
• Support the recruitment process in partnership with our recruiting specialists, participating in interviews and advising on hiring decisions.
• Act as the single HR point of contact and sparring partner for our Israeli entity's leadership on cross-entity people topics.
• Drive the onboarding and integration of the Israeli entity's leadership into trivago's HR processes, coordinating with trivago's Stakeholder.
• Govern people moves across entities, clarifying accountability within the matrix and championing cultural integration between both organizations.

What you'll need to thrive:

• Solid experience as an HR Business Partner (minimum 5 years), including advanced knowledge of German labor law, with a strong track record of aligning HR strategy with business goals on talent and organizational topics.
• Project management experience, ideally in a cross-entity, matrixed, or international context — paired with the multitasking skills to run local business partnering and cross-entity project work in parallel, and the adaptability to adjust to shifting demands and proactively find smart, pragmatic solutions.
• Fluent German (C1 level) and English, our company language, with the confidence to navigate diverse cultural contexts and communicate across entities and seniority levels.
• A genuine learning mindset: You approach challenges with curiosity, seek out feedback, and continuously look for ways to develop and grow.
• A performance mindset: You set ambitious goals for yourself and have the determination and resilience to follow through and achieve them.
• An open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation: You actively explore how AI can enhance your work and are excited to grow alongside evolving technologies.
