Beztak is looking to hire a Host/Hostess to join our team. The Host/Hostess performs all necessary duties to uphold the community’s standards of quality and excellence in food, service, hospitality, and friendliness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet all residents and guests as they arrive to the dining area.
- Ensure that residents and guests are seated quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean host station.
- Accommodate all resident requests as received. This may include drink delivery or refills as well the return of any dish.
- Ensure that ambulatory aids such as walkers and scooters are stored in an organized manner and store/retrieve these aids for residents as needed.
- Accountable for the knowledge and confidence of the menu, daily specials, and food preparation.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and to manage multiple residents at one time.
- Ability to expedite, carry, and deliver multiple plates of food as needed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all necessary health, food, and safety codes and regulations are performed at all times.
- Knowledge of all menu items’ specifications of ingredients, portions, and procedures.
- Execute all necessary opening and closing duties pertinent to scheduled shift or extra assignment.
- Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with challenging residents and vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, exhibiting effective interpersonal skills
- Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- One-year experience in a related position
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS:
Beztak and All Seasons complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and all state-requirements. This includes criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable) and drug testing.

Arizona applicants will need to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, TB test and clear the Adult Protective Services registry.
Michigan applicants will need to take a TB test and complete fingerprinting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position operates in a dining room setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns.
- Frequent hand washing is required.
