Shape the next chapter of a global AgTech growth story
Most marketing leaders spend their careers growing brands. Very few get the opportunity to help define an industry.
At eShepherd™, we're changing the way livestock farming is managed around the world through virtual fencing technology that gives farmers greater flexibility, improved productivity, and a new way to manage their land and animals.
Built on more than 85 years of innovation from Gallagher, eShepherd™ combines deep agricultural heritage with the ambition and pace of a fast-growing global technology business. Today, our products support farmers across multiple continents, and we're only just getting started.
We're looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to join our Leadership Team to develop and share one of the most compelling stories in global AgTech.
This isn't a role where you inherit a mature global brand and optimise around the edges.
This is an opportunity to help shape how the world understands eShepherd™, influence the future of this category, and build marketing capability that will support our next phase of international growth.
If you're energised by expansion, complexity, innovation and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark, we'd love to hear from you.
The opportunity
eShepherd™ is entering a pivotal stage of commercialisation, and marketing has a critical role to play in what comes next.
You'll own the global marketing strategy, connecting customer insight, commercial ambition and brand storytelling to drive awareness, demand, adoption and growth across established and emerging markets.
You'll think globally while ensuring local relevance for our customers around the world - understanding that what resonates with a producer in Australia may differ from what engages customers in the United States, Europe or Latin America.
Working closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Strategic Partnerships and regional leaders, you'll create the frameworks, capability and marketing engine required to scale a global business.
You'll help answer some of our biggest questions:
How do we create a globally recognised AgTech brand?
How do we enter new markets successfully?
How do we translate complex technology into meaningful customer value?
And how do we ensure marketing becomes a key driver of commercial growth across the business?
What you'll be doing
As Head of Marketing, you'll lead the development and execution of eShepherd™'s global marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, customer engagement, go-to-market and market expansion.
You'll:
Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that supports growth, market expansion and commercial objectives.
Build a strong and differentiated global brand that strengthens eShepherd™'s position as a leader in virtual fencing and livestock technology.
Turn customer and market insights into actionable growth opportunities.
Lead global go-to-market planning
Create integrated demand generation programs across digital, content, events, partnerships and key industry channels.
Develop compelling customer value propositions and messaging that simplify complex technology.
Partner closely with Sales to drive pipeline growth and revenue outcomes.
Build and enable regional marketing capability, balancing global consistency with local market relevance.
Use data, insights and performance metrics to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Build industry influence through thought leadership, media, partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team while contributing as a key member of the eShepherd™ Leadership Team.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a strategic growth marketer who thrives in environments where innovation, complexity and commercial ambition intersect.
You'll likely bring:
Significant senior marketing leadership experience within a SaaS, technology, digital platform, IoT, AgTech or innovation-led organisation.
Experience marketing solutions that combine hardware, software, connectivity, data and customer services.
A proven track record building and executing marketing strategies across complex international markets.
Strong experience developing demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline growth, customer acquisition and revenue outcomes.
Deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems including CRM, marketing automation, customer journey design, lead nurturing and performance analytics.
Experience scaling a product, platform or technology business through phases of rapid growth.
Exceptional product marketing and storytelling capability, with the ability to simplify complex technology and create compelling customer narratives.
Strong commercial instincts and a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue growth and business performance.
Experience working across multiple regions, cultures and go-to-market models.
The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.
Experience within AgTech, SaaS, IoT, agricultural technology or another fast-growth technology environment would be highly regarded.
Why eShepherd™?
Because opportunities like this don't come along often.
You'll join a company with global ambition and meaningful momentum to support new technology that is solving real-world challenges for farmers around the world.
You'll work cross-functionally alongside passionate experts across product, engineering, customer success, sales and operations, while benefiting from the stability, reputation and long-term thinking of Gallagher, a family-owned business that's been supporting farming communities for generations.
In return, we offer:
Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
Tools, technology and resources to help you succeed.
A supportive and collaborative team culture.
Employee Assistance Program and wellbeing initiatives
Ready to help build one of AgTech's most exciting global success stories?
If you're passionate about building brands, creating markets, leading teams and turning innovation into customer demand, we'd love to hear from you.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and the role may be filled before the closing date.
