The following qualifications and experiences are also viewed as meritorious:

• Experience from a large organization (regional, divisional, or segment level) or from a mid-sized, entrepreneurial company, working as a true business partner

• Experience as the right-hand person to a business manager, providing financial insights and support
• Solid understanding and experience of accounting, preferably both local Italian GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and financial reporting, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, strong knowledge of variance analysis and KPI tracking, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and verbal
• University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

• Strong ownership and drive: You take full accountability, act decisively, and drive results with a high level of autonomy — even in complex or uncertain situations.
• Commercial and business‑oriented mindset: You understand what drives business performance and translate financial expertise into actionable insights with real commercial impact.
• Analytical and insight‑driven: You structure and interpret complex financial and operational data to support decision‑making, identify risks, and uncover improvement opportunities.
• Clear communicator and trusted partner: You communicate financial topics clearly and credibly to non‑financial stakeholders, influencing decisions and building strong partnerships.
• Curious, detail‑oriented, and quality‑focused: You combine a growth mindset and curiosity with strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate reporting while continuously improving how things are done
