⚙️ About Azumuta

Manufacturing is entering its biggest transformation in decades.

For years, we’ve helped manufacturers digitize their operations through a platform used by leading manufacturers across Europe and North America. From digital work instructions and quality management to traceability, skills and operational excellence, we’ve helped thousands of operators perform their work better, faster and safer.
But we’re only getting started.

The next generation of manufacturing won’t be driven by software alone. It will be powered by AI that fundamentally changes how work gets done on the factory floor. We’re building a future where work instructions are generated automatically from engineering data, AI agents assist operators in real time, quality documentation is created autonomously, and repetitive administrative work simply disappears.

We’re not digitizing existing processes anymore. We’re redesigning manufacturing execution from the ground up.

Founded in 2016, Azumuta has grown into one of Europe’s leading Manufacturing SaaS scale-ups, working with some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers across industries including aerospace & defense, industrial machinery, automotive, electronics and medical devices.
We’re building what manufacturing will look like over the next decade. If that excites you, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing:

📊 Financial Planning & Performance

Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Build and maintain SaaS metrics dashboards (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, burn) and translate them into crisp, actionable insights for leadership.

⚙️ Financial Operations & Reporting

Run day-to-day financial operations: monthly close, reporting, invoicing, and accounting coordination. You're hands-on here — you do this yourself, not just oversee it.

💸 Cash Flow & Cost Efficiency

Manage working capital and cash flow actively. Identify and drive efficiency improvements while keeping the business funded for growth.

🛠️ Finance Systems & Tooling

Evaluate, implement, and own the finance stack (ERP or equivalent). Build visibility across teams through dashboards and structured reporting.

📋 Contracts & Revenue Integrity

Own the structure and quality of all customer contracts. Standardize templates, align with pricing and billing logic, and ensure clean data for invoicing, renewals, and revenue recognition.

🤝 Governance & Stakeholder Support

Prepare board and investor reporting. Support CEO decision-making. Manage relationships with banking partners, auditors, and tax advisors.

🔗 Cross-functional Partnership

Work closely with Sales, R&D, and People to align financial planning with company priorities. Be the finance voice in the room — not just a service provider, but a true business partner.

🖐 Hands on means being actively involved in the day to day execution, especially in the near term. As the company grows, you’ll help build and lead a lean team, but this role is best suited for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with rolling up their sleeves when needed.

🎯 You’d Be a Great Fit If You…

• Have 8–12+ years in finance, controlling, FP&A, or audit — with at least some time in a SaaS or fast-growing tech environment

• Are genuinely hands-on: you've built processes, run the close yourself, and don't wait for a team to execute

• Are strong in financial modeling, SaaS metrics, and turning data into clear leadership narratives

• Have implemented or meaningfully improved a finance system (ERP, billing tooling, or equivalent)

• Communicate clearly — both in numbers and in plain language — with founders, investors, and operators

• Thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments where the playbook is still being written

• Have experience working with or owning commercial contracts in a B2B SaaS context

• Have held a finance leadership role in a SaaS scale-up or high-growth environment

What’s In It for You?

• Join a fast growing manufacturing SaaS scale up with global ambitions

• Real ownership: you'll shape the finance function from scratch, not inherit a bureaucracy

• A leadership seat at a critical inflection point — this is the moment to join

• Hybrid setup in Ghent — a team that trusts you to manage your own time
