We are excited to invite a talented and experienced finance professional to join our team at Umm Al Quwain Hospital as the Head of Finance and Budget Section. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and guide the financial management and administrative support functions of the hospital. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence in financial operations.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Oversee and manage the hospital's financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Lead the implementation of financial strategies, plans, and policies, aligning them with the hospital's vision and mission, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and control expenditure, accounting processes, and project payments, working closely with various departments to ensure financial discipline and integrity.
- Provide administrative support and guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement in financial processes and systems, and implementing best practices.
- Monitor departmental performance, analyze financial data, and provide regular updates and insights to senior management, supporting informed decision-making.
- Ensure the hospital's financial operations meet and exceed quality and excellence standards, maintaining a strong focus on financial sustainability and growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare finance, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies to enhance financial management.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with facility and support services, ensuring seamless integration of financial operations with other hospital functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare finance, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles, demonstrating strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reporting practices specific to the healthcare industry, including a solid understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills, coupled with a strong ability to interpret and communicate financial data and insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building with colleagues, senior management, and external partners.
- Proficiency in using advanced financial software and tools for budgeting, reporting, data analysis, and financial modeling, with a willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies.
