Purpose of the Job
Hardware development of hearing instrument systems
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop product specific hearing system solutions
- Hardware integration of all sub-systems
- Define electroacoustics transducers for hearing systems
- Develop software tools for measurement systems
- Build hearing system prototypes
- Determine and define limits, test criteria and quality characteristics of hearing system hardware
- Know and follow Sonova’s standard operating procedures according to the training requirements
- Contribute to the R&D development process: planning, review, refinement of product increments
- Contribute to interdisciplinary agile development teams and participate in the team rituals
- Support the hiring process
- Support onboarding for new hires, act as primary contact person for new hires if needed
- Share and learn R&D knowledge in communities
- Create intellectual property and support IP process
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Wireless technologies, PCB design engineering
- Measurement experience, electronic hardware design, Design of wireless systems
