Field Materials develops AI-native material management software for construction. Our AI agents streamline material purchasing and equipment rentals, inventory management, and prefab operations. Our platform integrates with all major construction ERPs, eliminating manual data entry for purchase orders, invoices, delivery slips, and receipts; it saves 5-10% in material costs.
The company has grown 3x over the past year and is now processing $1B+ in construction purchasing volume. Founded by serial entrepreneurs with successful exits to Fortune 500 companies (including PayPal), the company has raised over $20M in total funding and is backed by leading Silicon Valley venture capital funds and senior executives from companies like Lowe's and Google.
Our company is the people we hire. We aspire to build a team of smart, high-caliber players that inspire each other to excel yet are not afraid to leave egos behind, roll up their sleeves, and fix what doesn't work. We don't believe in micromanagement and trust our team to take full ownership of their responsibilities. We believe in transparency as a way to build trust, break communication barriers, and align towards a common goal.
As our Growth Marketing / Marketing Operations Manager, you will own the engine that drives demand and brand presence for Field Materials AI. This is a hands-on, full-stack marketing role: one day you'll be running point on a trade show booth, the next you'll be building a HubSpot report to prove out the pipeline that event generated, and the next you'll be writing a customer case study that the sales team uses to close their biggest deal of the quarter.
You will be the connective tissue between our events, digital channels, and sales motion, making sure every dollar and every campaign is measured, repeatable, and tied to revenue. This is a high-ownership role with broad scope and real visibility, ideal for an operator who loves both the creative side of marketing and the analytical rigor behind it. If you are energized by building marketing processes from the ground up in a fast-growing AI startup, this is the perfect place to be.
Events & Trade Shows: Plan, coordinate, and execute the company's presence at industry trade shows and events end to end, including logistics, booth setup, collateral, lead capture, and on-site coordination.
Event Marketing Campaigns: Build and run email campaigns before and after each event (trade shows or webinars), driving attendance, registrations, and lead conversions.
Analytics & Reporting: Own marketing reporting in HubSpot, tracking event ROI, campaign performance, lead conversion, and pipeline contribution, and turning the numbers into clear recommendations for what to double down on.
Social Media: Manage and own the company's social media presence, owning the content calendar and publishing posts that build brand awareness and engagement.
Paid Advertising: Plan, launch, optimize LinkedIn ad campaigns, and manage budgets, targeting, creative, and reporting to maximize qualified pipeline.
Company Swag: Own company swag for customers, prospects, and employees end to end — sourcing, inventory, and budget — and build a repeatable process to distribute it to the right people at the right time.
Case Studies: Coordinate and write customer case studies, interviewing customers, capturing measurable results, and producing polished stories that power sales and marketing.
Owner Mindset: You take full responsibility for outcomes and don't wait for instructions to improve a process. You're comfortable building the playbook, not just running it.
Analytical & Creative: You're equally happy in HubSpot reports and a creative brief. You like proving what works with data and aren't satisfied with vanity metrics.
Hands-On Operator: You enjoy "rolling up your sleeves," juggling events, campaigns, and deadlines at once without dropping the ball.
Strong Communicator: You can write clean, compelling copy and tell a customer's story in a way that resonates with construction buyers, from CFOs to field operations leaders.
Bias for Action: You move fast, ship, measure, and iterate, and you thrive in the ambiguity of a fast-paced startup.
