Prophet is an award-winning Australian SaaS platform that helps marketing and commercial leaders understand what's actually driving their business. Our marketing mix modelling and decision science platform is used by some of the most recognisable brands in the region, giving them the rigour and confidence to make better investment decisions.
Recognised as the AFR Most Innovative Company for Media & Marketing in 2025, and we're scaling fast: 45+ enterprise customers and growing.
About the role
As our Demand Generation Lead, you will build and operate Prophet's lead-generation engine, using AI agents, data, automation and targeted campaigns to identify the right accounts, engage buying committees, nurture interest and create qualified opportunities for the Growth team. The role is divided into:
70% DEMAND GENERATION & ABM
Build and run multi-channel programs that identify, engage and convert high-value enterprise accounts.
20% AI GROWTH SYSTEMS AND AUTOMATION
Use AI agents, automation and connected data to make the growth engine faster, smarter and more scalable.
10% SALES ENABLEMENT
Support priority campaigns and opportunities with the assets, insights and processes needed to convert.
We are looking for talent who can progressively increase the sophistication of Prophet's AI agents and automation across account research, enrichment, segmentation, personalisation, campaign execution, follow-up, CRM management and reporting - being accountable for the growth engine and the pipeline it creates.
What you'll be doing
Own the end-to-end lead journey, from identifying net-new target accounts through nurture, re-engagement and qualified opportunity creation.
Build and orchestrate AI agents that support account research, data enrichment, segmentation, prioritisation, personalised outreach, follow-up, CRM updates and performance reporting.
Develop Prophet's account segmentation and ideal customer profile framework using firmographic, role, behavioural, intent and opportunity signals.
Plan and execute coordinated programs across email, LinkedIn, organic and paid social, account-based selling, ABM, events, content and below-the-line campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Create account-based programs for priority organisations, including account tiering, buying-committee mapping, role-specific messaging and structured multi-touch journeys.
Build nurture programs that maintain relevance across long enterprise buying cycles and convert engagement into meaningful sales conversations.
Own and connect the growth technology stack, including HubSpot, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, enrichment tools, automation platforms and relevant data sources.
Maintain accurate lifecycle stages, lead routing, data quality, campaign attribution and pipeline reporting so the team can see what is working.
Test audiences, propositions, messages, channels, sequences and offers, then use the results to improve conversion, velocity and efficiency.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to turn campaign engagement, events and buying signals into well-timed, relevant follow-up.
Support priority sales assets, proposals and campaign materials where they directly help create or convert pipelines.
Document repeatable playbooks and continuously reduce the manual effort required to generate and nurture opportunities.
What success looks like
A repeatable growth engine producing a consistent flow of qualified ICP opportunities, building toward at least five new qualified opportunities each month.
Clear growth in sourced and influenced pipeline, supported by reliable attribution and conversion reporting.
More priority accounts progressing through coordinated multi-touch journeys rather than isolated outreach.
Increasing automation coverage and AI-agent capability, reducing manual work while maintaining quality and appropriate human review.
A clean, trusted growth system with clear segmentation, lifecycle stages, ownership and next actions.
What you bring
Evidence that you have built or materially improved a lead-generation engine and can explain the pipeline outcomes it produced.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in B2B growth, demand generation, growth operations, RevOps or marketing automation within SaaS or scale-up environment.
Strong practical experience with AI agents, workflow automation and no-code or low-code tools, with sound judgement about where human review is required.
Deep working knowledge of HubSpot, including segmentation, properties, workflows, lifecycle management, reporting and data quality.
Experience executing multi-channel B2B programs across email, LinkedIn, social, ABM, events, content and targeted below-the-line activity.
The ability to design account-based programs around priority organisations, buying committees and long enterprise sales cycles.
An analytical approach to experimentation, attribution and conversion, with the discipline to improve the system using evidence.
Enough technical confidence to connect tools, data and workflows, work with APIs or webhooks where useful, and solve process problems independently.
Strong commercial judgement and communication skills, including the ability to write clear, relevant messages for senior enterprise audiences.
A strong understanding of the marketing, media and advertising ecosystem, and the curiosity to learn Prophet's category quickly.
A proactive, organised and self-directed working style suited to a fast-moving startup where the engine is still being built.
