Group Product Manager, Device Cloud Platform (IoT)

Shape the platform behind smarter connected care.

As Group Product Manager, Device Cloud Platform (IoT), you will play a critical role in defining and leading the evolution of Resmed’s device cloud platform strategy—shaping its shift into a more intelligent, continuously improving connected system that deeply integrates millions of devices into our broader digital ecosystem of solutions and experiences.

This is a role for someone who can bring clarity to complexity, turn infrastructure into a clearly defined platform product, and help teams deliver connected device capabilities that are safe, scalable, and valuable. You will work across embedded software, cloud engineering, device product teams, data, and commercial functions to evolve capabilities spanning device connectivity, data, over-the-air software delivery, remote configuration, cloud-side services, and fleet management.

You will also help transform the platform from today’s services into a foundational intelligence layer for Resmed, one that learns, adapts, and continuously improves, while leading and developing a small product team as the platform expands.

What You'll Do

• Define and continually evolve the vision and strategy for the Device Cloud Platform (IoT).

• Translate device, patient, technical, operational, and commercial needs into a clear product roadmap.

• Own the full platform lifecycle, from discovery through to end-of-life.

• Lead safe, scalable over-the-air software delivery across connected devices.

• Shape the strategy for device connectivity and fleet management, including communication technologies, lifecycle states, and SIM management, while owning commercial performance and key measures across cost, value, reliability, utilisation, and fleet health.

• Own cloud-side services that power end-to-end digital experiences for patients and providers, enabling seamless interaction across devices, data, and care pathways.

• Define and drive a broader ecosystem and third-party integration strategy, enabling secure, scalable connectivity with external partners and platforms.

• Improve the quality, reliability, and accessibility of device and therapy data.

• Partner across embedded software, cloud engineering, architecture, product, data, clinical, regulatory, quality, operations, finance, procurement, and marketing.

• Lead, coach, and develop a small product team as the platform grows.

What You Bring

• 10+ years in product management, product development, or relevant technical or commercial roles.

• Background owning a platform, infrastructure product, shared service, or connected-product capability used by multiple teams.

• Proven ability to define strategy and translate it into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

• Product leadership capability, including leading or mentoring product managers.

• Commercial judgement across cost, value, or operational performance.

• Technical fluency across connected products, cloud platforms, telemetry, data pipelines, remote configuration, and software delivery.

• Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams across organisational boundaries.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders.

What Sets You Apart

• Builder's Mindset: Creates structure where services, strategies, and initiatives need clearer direction.

• Commercial Ownership: Connects product decisions to value, cost, reliability, and long-term platform health.

• Systems Thinking: Balances short-term delivery needs with scalable foundations for future device programs.

• Influential Leadership: Builds alignment across teams with different priorities, constraints, and perspectives.

• Clarity in Complexity: Communicates strategy, trade-offs, risks, and decisions in a way that helps others move forward.

• Coaching Orientation: Develops product capability in others while helping the team grow with the platform.
