AI Fearlessly.

Trend AI is looking for an accomplished public-sector sales leader to own our Singapore Government strategy and growth agenda. Reporting to the Trend AI Singapore Country Manager, you will lead and develop the government sales team while personally providing executive sponsorship for strategic opportunities across ministries, statutory boards, agencies and the wider public-sector ecosystem.

This is a people-management role for a highly driven leader who is hungry to win, has a strong reputation within the Singapore Government market, and can hold credible management-level conversations about transformation, AI, cybersecurity and risk. We welcome candidates from both technology vendors and systems integrators.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop the Singapore Government sales team, setting clear expectations, accountabilities and a strong performance culture.

• Own the Singapore Government go-to-market strategy, team coverage model, pipeline and revenue performance, with clear priorities by agency, mission and use case.

• Translate country objectives into team and individual sales plans; inspect execution regularly and remove barriers to performance.

• Attract, retain and develop strong sales talent as the business grows, building succession and capability across the team.

• Develop trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders, technology leaders, procurement teams, security leaders and key influencers.

• Provide executive sponsorship for strategic opportunities, guiding the team from early-stage demand shaping through tender, negotiation, award and expansion.

• Navigate public-sector procurement frameworks, tender processes, budget cycles, governance requirements and complex commercial approvals.

• Position Trend AI’s value in business and mission terms, translating AI, cybersecurity and risk considerations into compelling executive outcomes.

• Mobilise cross-functional pursuit teams spanning solutions engineering, customer success, product, legal, finance, marketing and regional leadership.

• Build a high-impact partner ecosystem with systems integrators, cloud providers, distributors and advisory partners serving Singapore Government customers.

• Maintain rigorous opportunity qualification, forecasting and CRM hygiene; provide clear visibility of risks, dependencies and next actions.

• Represent Trend AI at government and industry forums, strengthening our public-sector presence and market credibility.

• Capture market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product, policy, partnerships and regional go-to-market decisions.

• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, compliance and responsible engagement in all government dealings.

What success looks like

• A focused and actionable government account strategy, with strong coverage of priority agencies and buying centres.

• A motivated, accountable sales team with clear development plans and consistent execution standards.

• Healthy, qualified pipeline and accurate forecasts, supported by disciplined deal progression.

• Growth in strategic wins, customer adoption and long-term account value.

• Stronger executive sponsorship, partner alignment and customer advocacy across the public sector.

What you bring

• Significant enterprise technology sales experience with either a technology vendor or systems integrator, including a strong track record in the Singapore Government and public sector.

• Proven people-management experience, with evidence of hiring, coaching, developing and leading sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.

• Demonstrated success winning complex, high-value, multi-year solutions involving multiple stakeholders and formal procurement processes.

• A strong professional reputation and trusted network within Singapore’s government technology ecosystem, procurement environment and partner landscape.

• Executive presence and credibility, with the ability to hold management-level conversations on transformation, security, AI adoption, governance and risk.

• Strong commercial judgement across account planning, qualification, negotiation, forecasting and contract closure.

• A highly driven, commercially hungry mindset, balanced with sound judgement, collaboration and long-term customer stewardship.

• Experience aligning direct reports, virtual teams and partners around shared goals and disciplined execution.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional relevant language capability is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to meet any customer, regulatory or security-clearance requirements applicable to the role.

Preferred experience

• Cybersecurity, enterprise AI, cloud, data platforms, infrastructure or other mission-critical enterprise software.

• Selling outcome-led transformation programs rather than standalone products.

• Working with government-focused systems integrators and cloud or technology alliance partners.

• Exposure to responsible AI, data governance, cyber resilience, sovereign-cloud or critical-infrastructure considerations.

Leadership attributes

• Strategic and hands-on: sets direction, develops people and stays close to priority pursuits.

• Trusted and principled: operates with sound judgement, discretion and integrity.

• Customer-obsessed: starts with agency missions and public outcomes, not product features.

• Hungry and accountable: sets a high bar, creates momentum and owns results end to end.

• Resilient and adaptable: stays effective through long sales cycles, ambiguity and change.
