SDG Group Italy is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy scalable cloud architectures, primarily on GCP, with growing exposure to AWS and Azure. You will ensure security, scalability and cost efficiency for data and AI projects.
You will implement IaC with Terraform and Deployment Manager, automate deployments with Ansible, configure CI/CD pipelines, and monitor performance using Google Cloud tools.
Design and deployment of cloud infrastructures: primarily GCP, with AWS/Azure exposure. Implement IaC: Terraform, Deployment Manager; automate with Ansible. Evaluate and optimize cloud architectures for performance and cost. Set up GitOps and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes. Develop scripts (Python/bash) to automate tasks and manage infra. Stay current with cloud best practices and new technologies. Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent training; higher vocational training in systems admin or app development. +2 years of infra in GCP; AWS/Azure welcome as extra skills. IaC usage: Terraform, Deployment Manager; CI/CD for data pipelines. Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration. GCP Security & Governance: IAM, RBAC, Secret Manager; Zero Trust. Google Artifact Registry for containers and artifacts. Observability: Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Error Reporting. Strong English communication for global collaboration.
